The recently released 7th edition of the Kern's Cardiac Catheterization Handbook, 2019, updated material includes detailed descriptions on how the procedure should flow, what steps should be learned first, how to approach patients undergoing this often frightening test, being part of the cath lab team, and similar work matters are presented.

Radial artery access has been strongly emphasized. as the default approach The newest femoral vascular closure devices are briefly presented.
